Day 1474: Safety

Lately,  people around me seem very concerned about safety.

Last night, safety was the main topic in my therapy group.

Here’s how I expressed myself about safety:

Somebody else in the group made a “safety crown.”

How would you express yourself about the topic “safety”?

I think the other photos I took yesterday relate to safety, too.

I guess I feel enough safety on this blog to show myself, open-heart surgery scar and all.

I’m late for cardiac rehab,  so safety dictates that I end my post here, with one more photo.

  1. Hello Ann! How lovely to see your sweet face (and hint of cardiac surgery scar)! I’m so glad you feel safe enough with us here to “reveal” yourself so openly! The first thought I had when I saw the title of today’s post was “Safety” was of the news story I just saw that the British espionage expert, who wrote the dossier on unverified Russian dirt on Trump’s supposed disgusting behaviors, is missing! His cover blown, he’s abandoned his home and no one knows where he is. Yikes! I feel safe not being a spy or a prominent public figure!

  2. Several years ago I took special training at work so my cubicle is designated a Safe Zone. It’s also open to anyone who just wants to dance.

  3. I can safely say you look great, Ann!
Safety for me is being within shouting distance of a fellow RVer and not being on my own in strange situations. On the whole, I practice safe habits like not running with scissors😜

  4. First off you look great! And as for safety, funny the things that first run through your mind. And everyone is so different. My first thought was not being in a hurry during this cold, icy weather. Walking too fast, driving too fast, can get in you in trouble faster than …than fast. Maybe because I’ve been there/done that. Great thinking post, girlfriend!

  5. Safety is important if we don’t do things that keep us and others safe more people would be dead, just saying

  6. Safety concerns are too often reserved for the seen and not unseen effects on our lives.

  7. You look safe, well and happy Ann. Makes a great trio 💛

  8. 🙂 ❤

  9. What a nice face!! I come to a full stop at stop signs, which has caused passengers to make snide remarks, but the signs are make to keep us safe.

  10. “Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”- Helen Keller

  11. We are so obsessed with safety that the freedom to live with reasonable risk is straight-jacketed.

  12. hello ann koplow its dennis the vizsla dog hay wen i need sayfty i go find mama!!! altho dada wil do in a pintch if mama is not avaylabul!!! ok bye

  13. safe to say you look great and should always feel safe with your blogging friends. Love the necklace 🙂

  14. I am very inspired by your cardiac rehab efforts. So consistent!

  15. You are beautiful inside and out, Ann. My brother had quadruple bypass surgery and is sometimes depressed, most of the time moves from hour to hour with his art and life. I worry about his living alone. Take it easy, Ann! xo
