Lots of rain with rumbly grumbly thunder – a favorite kind of day – but no “storm” attached. Seriously considering waiting until tomorrow to do weekly foraging for supplies. A good day to crawl back into bed and read.

When I worked in a call center there was a regular caller named Steve. I’d ask him how it was going and he always said “Busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest.” As long as he could joke about it I knew things were okay.
