Day 2231: Where things end up

Since everything is a process and because people and situations are continually changing and growing, we never know where things will end up.

I ended up, yesterday, thinking that “Where things end up” was a good title for the photos I ended up taking.

No matter what’s ending up around you, I think curiosity is a good place to end up (and begin with, too).  Also, people often end up making “pros and cons” lists of different possibilities in my office, to help them decide where they want to end up.

This evening, I’ll end up debuting my latest original song, “It’s Not Me,” at a local Open Mic, where I’ve ended up before. Because, for now, I don’t have a recording of “It’s Not Me” that I know how to share, I’m ending up sharing the Fats Domino song “Walking” (which I saw a sign about when I was ending up my walking last night).

The real title of that song ended up being “I’m Walking.” Also, I’m ending up wondering if this is the Fats Domino song on the hotel sign:

Comments end up being at the end of this post, below.  I wonder how many comments I’ll end up with.

As always, I end up these blog post with thanks to all who help me create them and — of course! — to YOU.

What weird behaviors would you like explained today, dear readers?

Weird behaviors in my blog include posting photos, unexplained.

Yesterday, Michael was trying to explain the weird behaviors of three hawks who were hanging around outside our home.

I can’t explain the weird behaviors of my new laptop, which automatically loads some photos from my iPhone but not others, like this one:

Shall we try to explain weird behaviors like throwing away things that say “Do Not Throw Away”?

Here are 10 Weird Cat Behaviors Explained:

My cat’s weird behavior of biting me in the morning remains unexplained.

More weird behaviors explained:

Do I need to explain my weird behaviors of thanking all — including YOU — at the end of my posts?

Day 1939: First AND last

The first thing I want to do in this post is let you know that my walking team at work is in first place  at this point in the six-week competition.  The six people on my team have walked more steps than any other team at the hospital where we all work: 1,162,290 combined steps in two weeks.

However, with 163,275 steps, I’m in last place on my team.

Despite being first AND last, I’m meeting the competition goal of 10,000 steps per day. The last thing I just saw on the challenge website was this:

Congratulations! You’re right on track!

So how do I feel about being first AND last?

Well,  I know I’ve been doing my best.  That’s paramount. And the team leader, Barbara, just messaged me

We are all part of the team….Go Ann!!!

Barbara makes you feel like you’re first, no matter where you are.  That — and the exercise benefits of walking in this competition — are going to last, for me.

Yesterday, I facilitated a retreat for group therapists — neither my first such retreat nor  my last.  It was the first warm and sunny day of Spring around here but (I hope) not the last. Even though I had to spend most of  that beautiful Sunday inside, my good feelings about the day are going to last.

I shall now share  my photos from yesterday’s retreat, from first to last.

What’s the first and last thing you notice in those photos?

The first thing I have to do today is get to work on time, so I’ll quickly go to the last blogging business of the day.  I hope that you

… and — last but not least — thanks to all who helped me create today’s first-AND-last post and  (of course!)  YOU.
