Day 1564: Did you know …

Did you know …

  • I sometimes get the title for my daily post from something I photograph the day before?

  • Some cats are not fans of other cats?

Day 1510: Patience

If you’ve had the patience to read all my daily posts (including this one), you might remember that a very helpful aptitude/personality test I took decades ago revealed three high indications of impatience. Therefore, patience is a virtue I work on, every day.

Yesterday, I saw these two indications of patience:

That cup and that bunny are inspiring me to be patient, especially as I look for a new home and continue to heal from heart surgery.

Do you have the patience to look at all my other photos from yesterday?

Do you have the patience to listen to the music I’ve chosen today?

If you have the patience to leave a comment, I have the patience to read it and respond.

Many thanks to all who helped me create this patient post and to you — of course! — for your patience, here and now.

Day 1466: Adulting

Yesterday, I saw a sign that made me aware that a new word is being used out there.

img_7938

As an adult, I instantly decided what “adulting” meant.

What do you think “adulting” means?  And do you agree that adulting is hard?

Personally, I find it hard when people in charge are not adulting.

Is there adulting in my photos from yesterday?

That last adulting photo reminds me of this famous scene from the movie Casablanca, where many people are adulting.

Adulting and adulating thanks to all who helped me write this post and to you — of course! — for adulting yourself over here, now.

Day 1452: Winter Wishes

Usually, when it’s winter, this blogger for all seasons wishes she were in a warmer place.

This year, my winter wishes include accepting and loving exactly where I am.

I wish for all my readers that same acceptance of exactly where you are, because that is always the first step to moving forward to where you want to be.

Some other winter wishes for this winter’s day:

  • my son has an easy flight home from Edinburgh,
  • my therapy groups at work are helpful for people,
  • there’s no ice on the ground so I can safely drive and walk around, and
  • I get a fabulous haircut.

What are your winter wishes?

Yesterday, on the first day of winter, my wishes included taking all these photos:

That last photo reminds me that one of my winter wishes for people in my therapy group yesterday was accepting ALL your feelings.

Here are some musical wishes for the season I found on YouTube (here and here):

My winter wishes also include that you comment below.

Good wishes to all who helped me created this Winter Wishes post and to you — of course! — no matter what your winter wishes, here and now.
