Day 3537: No Worry, No Hurry

Two night ago, when I had trouble sleeping, I wrote lyrics to a new song, “No Worry, No Hurry.”

No worry, no hurry as I share these lyrics with you before taking off for the airport this morning.

No worry, no hurry,

Don’t care what they think.

Those fears you should bury,

That shame you can shrink.

You don’t need to scurry

And do everything.

No worry, no hurry,

Just smile, breathe, and blink.

If you close your eyes

You might see what I see:

A landscape that offers

Sweet tranquility.

Awareness, acceptance,

Just waiting for me.

No worry, no hurry,

The chance to be free.

No worry, no hurry,

No need to be scared.

No need to apologize

For things that you’ve dared.

You don’t need perfection

For protection, my friend.

No worry, no hurry,

There’s peace without end.

©️ Ann Koplow, 2022

No worry, no hurry about checking out my images for today.

No worry, no hurry and no snow, no rain on National Neither Snow Nor Rain Day.

No worry, no hurry about finding something relevant on YouTube before my Lyft driver shows up to take me to the airport.

Thanks to all who help me have no worry, no hurry, including YOU!

Day 3532: Better than expected

Considering that today is my last work day before my two-week vacation, I’m definitely feeling better than expected. Usually I’m more nervous about getting everything done before I take time off.

Last night on Twitter, I asked a question about things working out better than expected.

Joan’s harness and leash are working out better than expected, because the harness is so easy to put on and and it’s allowing her to safely explore the great outdoors. I can’t read her mind, but I’m assuming Joan’s life is now better than expected.

Are my other images for today better than expected?

.

I doubt I’ll be able to be a lazy mom today, but I hope work will turn out better than expected.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “better than expected.”

Better-than-expected thanks to all who help me feel better every day, including YOU!

Day 3527: Blessings

Yesterday, when I was walking around the town of Melrose with my friend Barbara (who has been a blessing to me for over 60 years), I saw this:

.

Just now, I searched the Internet for more quotes about blessings.

.

Can you see blessings (including the ripples of kind hearts) in my other images for today?

As always, there are many blessings in every day.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for blessings.

Also, I want to share the anxiety-reducing blessings of Marconi Union:

Thanks to all who are blessings to me, including YOU!

Day 3522: Great thinkers

A great thinker on Twitter had a great answer to a question I asked last night:

.

That got me thinking about great thinkers and I found these two quotes online:

.

Do you see great thinkers in my other images for today?

Some great thinker designed a comfortable harness which is easy to put on a cat. Yay!

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “great thinkers”:

I look forward to some great comments from great thinkers, below.

Thanks to all the great thinkers who help me create this daily blog, including YOU!

Day 3508: What’s worth celebrating

Last night on Twitter I asked, “What’s worth celebrating?”

The answers I’m getting are worth celebrating. What’s worth celebrating in my images for today?

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “what’s worth celebrating.”

I also find this:

Thanks to all the wonderful people out there who are worth celebrating, including YOU!

Day 3488: Taking up too much space

I don’t want to be taking up too much space here explaining that I — and many other women I know — sometimes worry about taking up too much space.

In order to let go of that worry, I’ve practiced taking up too much space at concerts, for example, momentarily stretching out like a cat or using my elbows to establish territory.

So I don’t mind if I’m taking up too much space sharing my images for today.

Because I’m using the Noom app to change my eating habits, cheesecake is not taking up too much space here these days. Narcissists, however, are always taking up too much space, no matter where they are.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “taking up too much space.”

.

I also find this:

.

Please don’t worry about taking up too much space in the comments section, below.

I don’t mind if I’m taking up too much space thanking all those who visit this blogspace, including YOU!

Day 3477: Decisions, Decisions

I’m pretty sure I’ve written other blog posts about decisions, decisions because making decisions can be difficult for me.

Some people have decided that decisions, decisions can be especially challenging for people who are Perceivers (rather than the Judgers) on a Myers-Briggs scale.

One of my decisions about decisions is that there often isn’t one right or wrong decision. All-or-nothing thinking puts too much pressure on decisions, decisions.

At the same time, a series of bad, thoughtless decisions, decisions can have global consequences, like climate change.

Do you see decisions, decisions in my images for today?

.

The National Day Calendar people are offering only two decisions, decisions today.

I’m making a decision, decision to share this result from searching YouTube for “decisions, decisions.”

.

So many decisions, decisions to make as I create this daily blog, but I always decide to end each post with gratitude for YOU!

Day 3465: Resignation

The word “resignation” has two different meanings.

.

When I looked up “resignation” just now, the definition page coincidentally included a news story about resignations.

I look at the news with resignation lately and do you see resignation in my other images for today?

.

If I search YouTube for “resignation” I’m resigned to finding mostly videos about Boris Johnson’s resignation, so here are two tunes I was listening to yesterday.

What are your thoughts and feelings about this “resignation” post?

I’m so grateful to blog every day for you, so there are no plans for resignation here!

Day 3462: Independence

I’m going to show my independence today by creating the blog post I want.

The Daily Bitch seems to have the independence to say whatever she wants, no matter what day it is. I aspire to the same.

In a few hours I’ll be watching our local Independence Day parade, after having the independence to take a very long walk by myself.

Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “independence.”

What are your thoughts and feelings about this “independence” post?

I’m very grateful for the independence I still have and, of course, for YOU.

Day 3459: When you’re feeling down

When you’re feeling down, know that you’re not alone.

When you’re feeling down, remember that you’ve felt down before and made it through.

When you’re feeling down, resist the temptation to get down on yourself and beat yourself up.

When I’m feeling down, I share my heart with people I trust, observe what’s around me, set an achievable goal, access good memories, and get in touch with humor.

When you’re feeling down, get down with the Daily Bitch (and maybe eat a creative ice cream flavor or a ginger snap).

When you’re feeling down, listen to music that brings you up.

When you’re feeling down, get in touch with gratitude. Thanks to all who help me get up every day and create these blog posts, including YOU!
