Day 3038: The Oscars

I never miss the Oscars, which I’ve been watching through all my aspirations and careers, including film school student.

Last night, I watched the Oscars without our late cat Oscar, who always deserved an Oscar for best supporting cat. For many reasons, watching last night’s Oscars just wasn’t the same.

Day 2961: Gratitude list

As I return to work, remotely, after my birthweek vacation, I’d like to start out the day with a gratitude list.

Here and now, I am grateful for

• our good health,

• my very unusual heart,
• my doctors and my dentist,

• the delicious nutritious meals Michael cooks,

• nature,

• my other creative outlets,

• Twitter,
• “Jazz,”
• “RuPaul’s Drag Race”,
• “Match Game” reruns,
• “Call My Agent” (a/k/a “Dix pour cent” in French), and
