Day 1998: Good

It’s good that I noticed that my first two photos from yesterday have good in them.

Do you see the good there, my good people?  Do you see the good in other people? Do you see more good than bad?

I guess I see more good than bad:   I’ve written 41 posts here with the word “Good” in the title (starting with Day 3: The Fear of Feeling Too Good) and I’ve written 14 posts with the word “Bad” in the title (starting with Day 263: Bad Day/Good Day, which has good in it, too).

Do you see the good in the other photos here?

A good friend texted me that good drawing, above, with this good caption: “Got your back.”

Last night, at a good board meeting, I sang a small portion of this very good song from Into the Woods,  in memory of our very good friend, Michelle.

The good lyrics I sang were these:

Sometimes people leave you

Halfway through the wood.

Do not let it grieve you

No one leaves for good.

You are not alone.  No one is alone.

It’s always good to end with thanks.  Thanks to all who help me create all my good posts, including this one, and to you — of course! — for being good enough to be here, now.

Day 1963: A Remarkable Journey

I find it remarkable that in this nineteen-hundred-and-sixty-three-day blogging journey,  I’ve used the word “Journey” in only one other title — Day 1463: Sea Journey.  It’s also remarkable to me that I’m writing “A Remarkable Journey” on day 1963, because 1963 has been the most remarkable year in my personal, remarkable journey.

On my remarkable journey yesterday, I saw the inspiration for today’s title.

I did call 617-895-4085, pressed 103#, and learned about the remarkable journey of the remarkable bonsai trees at Boston’s Arnold Arboretum.

Learning about the Larz Anderson Bonsai Collection was only one part of my remarkable journey yesterday, when I walked 27,358 steps/12.95 miles, starting with a single step.

I got those remarkable macaroni-and-cheese socks in NYC last weekend. Notice that my remarkable journey of healing my torn rotator cuff continues at ATI physical therapy.

It’s truly remarkable to me that I took all my photos on my remarkable journey yesterday thinking that the name of today’s post would be “Fancy Colors.”

As I was on my remarkable journey yesterday, I heard the remarkable “Fancy Colours” by Chicago.

Next month, I will be taking a remarkable journey to Chicago with my son.

Any remark you make below will make this remarkable journey even more remarkable.

While every remarkable journey starts with a single step, every remarkable blogging journey here ends with gratitude.  Thanks to all who help me with all my remarkable journeys, including YOU.

Day 1928: Outgoing

When I was out going to Physical Therapy yesterday morning, I saw this:

That was hours before I heard  the news about outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan and saw this:

How Much is Outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan Worth?

My current outgoing thought: How much is any human being worth?  When I was an outgoing child, I saw a TV drama about the fact that all the chemicals in the human body were worth less than a dollar,  which was probably based on a 1924 article titled “Our Bodies’ Worth Only 84 Cents” by one of the outgoing founders of the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Charles Mayo.

If you’re outgoing enough to click on all the links in that previous outgoing paragraph, you’ll be out going to a post I wrote when I was at the Mayo Clinic nineteen months ago.

Here are other outgoing photos I took when I was out going to work yesterday:

I stayed strong yesterday, even though there was ice going all over my outgoing car yesterday morning. I think people are less outgoing when it is this cold out going a month into Spring.

Going out to YouTube, this outgoing blogger sees a lot of videos about outgoing Paul Ryan and other ones on how introverts can be more outgoing. I’d rather be out going dancing to these songs:

If you leave an outgoing comment, I’ll respond with an outgoing reply.

Thanks are going out to all who helped me create today’s outgoing post and — of course — to YOU!
