Day 3283: Appetites

As I look at my images for today, “appetites” seems like the best topic, so let’s start out with a definition.

.

I hope you have an appetite for quotes about appetites.

.

What appetites can you see in my images for today?

I think it’s funny that my husband Michael and I are celebrating our second wedding anniversary on National Fruitcake day. Does anybody have an appetite for fruitcake?

When I search YouTube for “appetites” I find this:

As I often tell people who struggle with overeating, our appetites are programmed to eat all the sweets and fats in our immediate vicinity. Those appetites allowed our ancestors to survive when fats and sugars were in short supply. These days, the best way to deal with insatiable appetites for junk food is to get it out of your home.

I have an insatiable appetite for your comments, so please leave one below.

I hope you have appetites for gratitude, because here are many thanks coming from me to you.

Day 3140: Are you an optimist, pessimist, or what?

Today’s blog title is inspired by this:

According to that, I think I’m all those things, depending on the situation, my mood, and my perspective.

Are you an optimist, pessimist, or what as you look at today’s other images?

I was optimistic that I would find something I’d want to share here if I searched YouTube for “optimist, pessimist, or what” and I found this

… and this:

I’m wondering if that second video explains people’s resistance to thinking and acting about climate change.

No matter if you’re an optimist, pessimist, or what, thanks for visiting my daily blog today!

Day 2937: What is helping people fall asleep this week?

Last night, when I couldn’t fall asleep, I tweeted the question in today’s title. Much to my surprise, I got lots of answers, which helped me fall asleep.

How would you answer that question? What is helping you fall asleep this week?

Do you see anything in my recent images that would help you fall asleep?

The Daily Bitch is telling me that there are friggin’ reasons why I’m having trouble falling asleep this week.

Here’s “How To Fall Asleep In 2 Minutes” from AsapSCIENCE:

Hearing back from people helps me fall asleep, so consider leaving a comment below.

Finally, gratitude is helping me fall asleep this week, so thanks to all who read this blog, including YOU!
