Day 3728: Consentient

“Consentient” showed up in my mailbox yesterday as the word of the day and I assume we’re consentient about understanding what words mean.

With so much emphasis these days on disagreement, I hope we’re consentient that refocusing on how we agree might be helpful.

I wonder if people are consentient about the images I have to share with you today.

I think people are consentient about the importance of sleep, so Happy World Sleep Day, everybody!

Here’s what I find when I search YouTube for “consentient.”

.

I look forward to consentient comments and thanks to all who are consentient about visiting my blog, including YOU!

  1. I think I’ll try to eat an elongated sandwich to celebrate submarine day, add. I agree now to call it a sub. Back when I grew up, though, where I lived we used to call it a hero!

  2. Consentient: a. alert and awake; not sleeping or comatose. b. aware of one’s surroundings, one’s own thoughts and motivations, etc.
So not only awake but also alert. Give me an hour.

“Consentient” is another new thing that I learn from your wonderful blog!

  4. Whenever a new person starts at the library I always tell them, “There’s an exception to every rule. Except the rule that says there’s an exception to every rule.” So far that’s something everyone’s agreed on but I remain open to the possibility that someone will find an exception, and I will agree with them.

  5. Joan is Consentient of your bathroom!

  6. I love learning new words like this
