Yesterday, I was happy to see that Spotify had created a happy mix for me.

Even though I’m reading a book that helpfully promotes being content over being happy …

… I still like to mix it up with happy mixes, so here’s today’s happy mix of images

I’m happy that after a mix of less-than-ideal INR readings for months, my anti-coagulant levels are back in the sweet spot!
Here’s a tune from my Happy Mix that made me happy yesterday:
.
Every happy mix includes gratitude as a main ingredient, so thanks to all who help me mix these daily blogs, including YOU!

I think having people say, “God, he was a nice person,” is a much bigger tribute than most people realize. I’d like to think that if the world was filled with people, like that, we’d be in a different place.
I’d be happy with more people like that in the mix, Kay!
Me too!
I’d like to comment on 3 of your photos today.
1. The gravelly beach that starts wide in the foreground and quickly narrows into a wisp — very artistic.
2. The upper part of the smashed pumpkin looks like someone carefully formed it into a turkey. (This perception might be influenced by the recency of Thanksgiving.)
3. Is that a china dish that Joan is poised next to? I’m waiting for its crash to the floor!
I enjoyed your mix of comments, Debbie, and no worries about that dish!
I know it sounds banal, but my favorite cake is chocolate. Love the pictures.
My favorite cake is chocolate and thanks for commenting.
I heard about carrot cake before I tried it and I knew it would be one of my favorites just because it sounded so odd. And I was wrong. It’s not one of my favorites. It is my favorite.
Thanks for adding to the mix and improving it as always, Chris.
looks like your pictures, and every creature in them, is enjoying the happy mix of seasons. my fav cake is local, had it as my birthday cake every year. yellow double layer cake with a buttercream frosting covered in finely chopped nuts.
thanks for adding to the happy mix, beth!
I am very happy to see Harley and Joan content together, Ann.
I am always happy to see you, Mark.
Such beautiful photos of Harley and Joan. They add to happiness, I’m confident. I love my Spotify suggestions, but often laugh at my end-of-year review. I play children’s songs on my phone (Spotify) for my grandson who really enjoys music. I am expecting this year’s top song to be Star Wars Imperial March. Possibly better than the year it was “The Wheels on the Bus!” 🙂
This comment made me very happy, my friend!
