Yesterday, on the National Day of Listening, I asked a question about listening on Twitter.

There are many things besides Joan I love listening to; can you see any of them in my images for today?

Listening to the Daily Bitch calendar, I’m thinking that for many years I WAS the youngest, baddest bitch in cardiology clinics; these days, not so much.
I love listening to the Daily Bitch calendar, the ocean, animals, the sounds of change, jokes, good advice, and — especially! — people I love, like my friend Jeanette, who was visiting yesterday from D.C.
Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “listening.”
I feel better after listening to that.
Thanks to all who are listening, including YOU!

I love listening to my dear wife Karen and cherished rescue mutt Ellie, Ann.
I love that, Mark.
Nice to see Janette!
It was very nice to see Jeanette and it’s always nice to see you!
What a great tribute to your self-care, your fighting spirit, and your doctors — that you’ve reached an age where your companions in cardiology waiting rooms are in a similar stage of life, instead of decades older.
I always appreciate listening to you, my friend.
One of the things I enjoy about reading your posts is that I can hear your voice in my head. I’m also reminded that a few nights ago I went outside and could see a very large owl perched in the yard just beyond the patio. It flew away, completely silent, but I suspect it was one of the great horned owls I often hear hooting.
I’m very glad we’ve been able to listen to each other’s voices for so long, Chris.
Wow! I’m so glad I listened to that Ted Talk! I couldn’t agree more: we need to teach listening in our schools. We need to listen consciously in order to live fully. “We are losing our listening” and with it goes our connections, understanding, and peace! Step one: silence … so hard to find! I’m up in my quiet sanctuairee… but the wind outside disturbs my silence! Where do you find it?
I find it whenever I can in precious moments, Jan, and I’m always glad to listen to you.
I find listening to music a must for my emotional balance. I have learned over the years of reading your daily posts that you and I have some very similar tastes in music. That makes me happy!
It makes me happy to listen to you, Debra!
