Day 3607: Voices I love to hear

Yesterday, when voices I do NOT love to hear were spreading lies and toxic narcissism, I did not listen to those voices. Instead, I listened to voices I love to hear, including these:

In honor of National Button Day, here’s a voice I love to hear: Paul Carrack, singing “Button Off of My Shirt.”

I would love to hear the voices of people fooled by toxic narcissists singing that song.

Thanks to all those whose voices I love to hear, including YOU!

  1. I hear you, Ann.

  2. Debbie T

Seeing Joan curled up in the bathroom sink still makes me laugh every time.

  3. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks to us in our conscience. But shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” – C.S. Lewis

That is the voice I listen to.

  4. I was so happy to hear Joan’s voice and yours. This morning I heard a barred owl which also made me happy. Then someone shared this with me which has some very distinctive voices:

  5. I am so glad with the choices you chose to hear

  6. Johnny Cash

  7. I don’t love donuts but your joke about letting somebody go again if they come back without donuts made me laugh.

Loved seeing Joan and Harley together!

  8. How fun to hear Ms. Joan vocalizing. 🙂 I just heard a report that a certain voice I really do not want to hear will have Twitter access again. I think that signals the end for me. 😱
