It’s a little trite, but my dad was my hero. I didn’t think of him in those terms when he was living, but in the last few years as I’ve thought of how he never complained (with debilitating Parkinson’s) and never said anything ill of anyone, I tap into how much I admire him. I think that’s a hero. 🙂
