You’re not alone in
- reading this blog,
- dealing with the pandemic,
- weathering storms,
- experiencing emotional and/or physical pain,
- being mortal,
- experiencing happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and all your other feelings.
You’re not alone in seeing my images for today.

You’re not alone if you’re wanting a croissant, an escape, non-violence and peace right now.
Here’s “You’re Not Alone” by Saosin.
You’re not alone if you have thoughts and feelings about this post you’d like to express in the comments section, below.
And finally, you’re not alone in being grateful that there are wonderful people out there like YOU.

Am I alone in being mightily impressed by the embryonic snow drift on your balcony?
No, because I’m impressed too!
Thank you for your helpful thoughts. I laughed out loud at the road less traveled clip. So true!
Regarding your question about lectures on Twitter, I follow some people because they are kind or funny and don’t lecture although they may have strong opinions (you and Dr Glaucomaflecken, for example), but I also follow people whose viewpoint I am interested in learning about, who sometimes lecture: Adoptees on Adoptee Twitter. I sometimes benefit from lectures. But I generally won’t follow someone who is solely bent on attacking people. However, I rarely tweet and don’t follow that many people; Twitter is just a minute or two of my day, and not every day.
I think the blizzard imprint on your sliding door screen looks like a land shark, Ann! Or what I imagine a land shark would look like in a snowstorm, anyway …
It’s interesting.. in the first picture it reminded me of a church window, and in the second, a bottle of wine. We see the same things but from a different perception.
From a Facebook group called “Literary Jokes & Puns (or GTFO!)”, a post by a member named Michael Parolin (whom I don’t know): “Due to the recommendation of Robert Frost, so many people have now taken the road not taken, that it is now to be officially known as the road taken. In order to take the road not taken, people must now take the road formerly known as the road taken. Thank you.”
i know for certain that i’m not alone in looking forward to reading your blog and seeing your pictures each day. and you are not alone either, because i see a snow shark on your balcony….
I’m so glad I’m not alone and that you’re there, beth !
This is so true. I learned it many years ago as a participant on a training course. I pointed out something that was patently wrong. No-one else said a word, but several people came up to me afterwards and said they felt the same. I realised this was not that unusual.
I’ve had the same experience, Derrick.
I’m sure
I find that coming to your blog is always refreshing and reminds me that I am not alone! So did you know you were a service provider? 🙂
