Since there are so many random ways I could start this blog post, why not with a definition of “random”?

My random thoughts about that definition include: (1) “randoms” are also known as “randos” and (2) I’ve been spending a lot of time with some random guys (and gals) on Twitter.
Now it’s time for some random images!

Netflix recommendations can seem very random.
Here’s what I find on YouTube when I search for “random”:
Here’s a random comment on that video:

I’m looking forward to your random comments on this random post.
Random thanks to all who read my random blog, including YOU!

May you have a great Monday, Ann.
I hope we both did, Mark, and I wish you a great rest of the week.
I love and embrace the randomness in life.
i love that about you, beth.
A random act is a cat!
And a random Peter is re: pet!
The random jeopardy game looks fun
Random thoughts can be fun.
I don’t think there is such a thing as a random act of kindness. Each one is preceded by a decision to act.
Good and non-random point, Lisa.
I should have added that I think what they are is unexpected acts of kindness (on the recipient’s part).
Another great point. Thank you!
I once posted this on Facebook: “I saw Vincent Schiavelli sitting at a bus stop today. I couldn’t believe it, and not just because he’d been dead for five years. I didn’t want to bother him but as I went by I said, ‘I never saw Venice.’ He nodded, and I knew he understood.”
A friend commented, “I love how random you are!”
It wasn’t entirely random but rather an obscure reference, but I still love how that friend used “random” as a compliment.
Random facts about Vincent Schiavelli: He had Marfan syndrome (as allegedly did Jonathan Larson, the creator of “Rent”), he was the subway ghost in “Ghost,” and he’s buried in Italy. I love how random we are, my friend.
I sometimes wonder who is in my head when I obsess with random thoughts that at times are a bit “out there.” I absolutely loved, and laughed out loud at “Insomnia Jeopardy!” I think I have indeed played that game from time to time! LOL!
You’re not alone, my friend!
