Let’s get some perspective, here and now, by starting off with a definition of “perspective.”

Last night — when my son Aaron, my husband Michael, and I returned to an old, familiar haunt of ours with new perspectives — I made sure to take photos of a mural that has very unusual perspective.

I have such fond memories of seeing that mural from the perspective of our much younger selves. Last night, Michael and Aaron remarked that these two …

… evoked Michael and his twin brother.
My perspective is that I love that mural and everyone observing it last night. And Wild Willie’s Burgers has a new perspective since we were last there: they now offer more vegetarian options.
What perspective do you bring to my other images for today?

Because that list has a USA National Perspective, it doesn’t mention that today is also International Transgender Day of Remembrance.
I find the perspective of Alan Watts when I search YouTube for “perspective.”
Please express your perspective in the comments section, below.
From my perspective, I am grateful for all perspectives, including yours!

From my perspective, coming here in the morning after taking a hiatus from so many things social media related, felt like a brand new day awakening!
Thanks for that Burger bottle photo with questions — it reminded me of Natalie Golberg’s writing exercise to write from the perspective of objects around you — like the seat of the chair upon which you sit. Always fun!
I always love your perspective, Louise!!
Answer to last question: You!
Back at you!
I don’t need to be confused by similar sounding words, I can manage quite well on my own!
Love your pondering perspective, Peter!
That’s a lovely photo of your mom and Aaron. I wasn’t surprised to see that photo but I was surprised to see Joan on top of the microwave. I shouldn’t have been as Joan is an out of the box explorer who finds joy in every space.
Thank you for reminding us that it is Transgender Day of Remembrance. I found it moving that President Biden made a statement about it.
Thanks for all the lovely perspectives in this comment, my friend.
i love seeing the same situation from different perspectives. and i’m guessing someone’s perspective is coming from under the couch.
I love your perspective, beth!
It’s true that perspective is everything, and I often need that reminder when I’m confident that I have the best (only) opinion on almost anything. LOL! I love the photo of Joan with the tiger. The perspective in the shot indicates the tiger is petting Joan, and giving comfort. 🙂
I love your comforting perspective, Debra.
Perspective is like having multiple views of subjects, much like the compound eyes of an insect, It allows one to spot subtle differences from different angles. A wide perspective means one’s former world, suddenly became a universe.
Thanks for your insightful perspectives, Maria.
Your blog observations put the stake observations on my day in A1 style, Ann.
Love your punny perspective, Mark.
