Day 3244: I love _____

I love asking people questions, so how would you fill in the blank of today’s title?

Last night, after a wonderful last day of a New York vacation, I said “I love New York” out loud as I was walking through Times Square.

I love looking on YouTube for relevant videos, so here’s an example of the “I Love New York” advertising campaign from the 1970s …

… and a 1978 version of the song from that campaign.

I love sharing my images with you in this daily blog, so here are many reasons I love New York

I love:

  • the High Line walk,
  • wonderful, talented people like Stephen Colbert and Jon Batiste,
  • delicious French food at restaurants like La Rivage, and
  • Twitter even when I’m on vacation.

I love people loving themselves more.

I love getting comments and I love ending each blog post with gratitude for YOU!

  1. I love people coming together for the greater good, Ann. Thanks for sharing these shining examples in New York City.

  2. Luis Del Castillo

    …..your blog!

  3. I love your tours! Not a fan of NYC, but you make it look good–and the High Line is a place I’d visit if I could make myself go back. What a success story that is.

  4. puella33

Did you get to see Steve Colbert in person? Love the pictures

  5. There’s so much to love in what you’re seeing in New York, and I also love it that I just read that Boston’s Mayor Wu is expanding free public transportation. Together we can make the world a better place.

  6. I would love to retrace all of your NYC steps! It looks like a fabulous adventure. I would say that I have a long list of words to fill in your title. I suppose that’s a really nice thing for me to acknowledge to myself, actually. But top of the list, and without any reservation, is my grandchildren. All three fill up every space in my heart. 🙂 and then you can add the beach, Pacific Ocean in particular. LOL!

  7. my love is big and it keeps growing

  8. my readers engaging with each other

  9. I love those Black-eyed Susans in NYC?
