Day 3109: Starting today

Starting today, I am going to

  • be braver,
  • not assume,
  • breathe more deeply,
  • be less afraid of other people’s anger,
  • take more breaks, and
  • only Tweet when I’m at home, because I’m close to exceeding my monthly mobile phone data.

Starting today, if I’ve overslept and I’m running late in the morning, I’m not going to feel guilty about throwing my blog post together quickly without much explanation or organization.

Starting today, if I don’t have time to include music or a video in my blog post, I shall feel no guilt.

This is not starting today, but as usual I feel and express gratitude for everyone in my life, including YOU!

  1. starting today, you will give yourself permission to just be, and start again each day, doing what you can

  2. I like that someone put up a warning for the poison ivy. That was very thoughtful. I hope the poison ivy stays put behind the warning.

  3. I start over every today!

  4. Starting today, I am back. It’s been a case of “There he was, gone!”

    Enjoy today, Ann

  6. Starting today, I realize you have common milkweed plants such as Asclepias syriaca. Beautiful image of your time machine landscape.

  7. For some reason I’m reminded of Daniil Kharms who wrote, “I was most happy when pen and paper were taken from me and I was forbidden from doing anything. I had no anxiety about doing nothing by my own fault, my conscience was clear, and I was happy. This was when I was in prison.” He was a weirdly funny guy who enjoyed the absurdities of life, as do you.

  8. Starting today I’m going to be sure to tell someone every day that I appreciate them! I’ll start with you! 🙂

  9. It took me longer than usual to get down here, Ann, because I had to figure out how to get past the cat place photo without tapping on my screen white I swipe it.
