I don’t know about you, but annoying, obnoxious, miserable, angry, and unsafe people take up too much space in my brain.
My brain tells me that it needs to focus on these people, because they are threats to our well being.
I am telling my brain that we also need to focus on more pleasant, restful, and helpful things, in order to take care of ourselves and to conserve our energy.
I hope my latest images don’t take up too much space in your brain.

Here’s what I find when I search you tube for “Who is taking up too much space in your brain?”
Please make space in your brain for that important message: we can’t control thoughts and feelings, but we can control our actions.
Who will be taking up space in the comments section, below?
Thanks to all who have helped me take up blog space for almost 3000 days in a row, including YOU.

yes, I have neither time nor space for those people. no reason to try to squeeze them in –
Thanks for squeezing in another great comment, beth.
Oh, Ann, that doctor was awful to you! At least I feel so bad for you I think doctors should have more compassion- that should be part of their oath. That would have scarred my life. I’m sure there are still more like him walking the face of the earth, sadly. When I read that I was suffering with you .
There are so many hateful people, I don’t even think they know how hateful they are.
Thank you for taking up space with your compassion and empathy.
I think Daylight Saving Time is taking up too much space in my brain. For weeks now I’ve been getting up after sunrise. This morning I was eating my breakfast and someone on the news said, “And sunrise will be…nine minutes from now.” That threw off my entire day.
I love how you take up space here, Chris.
The older I get the less I allow annoying, obnoxious, miserable, angry, and unsafe people even a modicum of brain space!
Getting older has its advantages, my brainy friend!
Who is taking up too much space in your brain? ‘Who’ is ego and that is already too human. Harley is better.
Thanks for taking up this space exactly the way you did, Maria.
Fortunately that doesn’t really happen to me these days. I like the little pile of stones picture.
I like your little pile of words here, Derrick.
🙂
There’s barely enough space in here for me, Ann.
There’s always space for you, my friend !
Prior to 2020 I might have included a long list of people taking space in my head, but a by-product of so much time alone, and a lot of introspection and meditation has definitely provided a cleansing effect. Right now, and I hope I can hold onto this, I am free of those past preoccupations. I hope I can hold onto that feeling. It’s so welcome!
You are so welcome, here, Debra, and I love the way you take up space!
