Have you noticed that your opinion is not always shared by others, including family members and friends?
When opinions are different, my opinion is that people might
- defend,
- declaim,
- double down,
- demonize,
- discriminate,
- distrust,
- disappoint,
- disassociate, and/or
- disappear.
And those are just the D-words of what people might do!
What do you do when your opinion is different?
My opinion is that people might respond “that depends.”
Sometimes, other people’s opinions are disturbing (see today’s news for plenty of examples). However, different opinions can also be illuminating, instructive, and inspiring.
Today, I am interested in other people’s opinions about opinions AND about which video I should use of my song “Vaccine.”
In your opinion, is this one better …
or this one?
Also, what is your opinion about today’s images?

Thanks to you for reading my opinions, no matter what your opinion may be.

I go for video number 1
My opinion was that people might prefer #2 because of the better sound quality, but I definitely value your opinion, Derrick!
Video 1 for me! Great lyrics Ann 😎
I appreciate your opinions, Val!
It’s number 1 all the way!
Thanks for sending this opinion all the way from where you are, my friend!
#1. But only because I love it.
I usually enjoy differences of opinion, especially with people who bring me home made Seville marmalade when they make it even if we think differently. I learn from differences.
You are #1, Maureen!
My opinion is that I prefer the second video, because it seems more natural and that you’re having more fun doing it.
The way the stuffed tigers are wearing is indicative of the times.
Have a nice day, Ann
I value your opinions very much.
Both are just as nice.
Very nice of you to say so, Maria!
I like the pace of video one, but I think it’s the one with the bad mike, right? Still, I like it better. As for opinions, I usually just ask why someone thinks what they do or how they came to the conclusion. Sometimes it makes for a good discussion. Sometimes not.
My opinion is that your comments are very helpful Lisa.
I definitely think video 1 is the better one, even with a few flaws, if only because you have your glasses on and glasses always make you look smarter. Of course you know what they say about opinions: they’re like armpits. Everybody’s got a couple and some of them stink.
Hah! I agree… like armpits… some stink… hah! What do I do when someone’s opinion differs from mine? I shrug. We’re all entitled to our opinions. Of course “opinions” may or may not represent Truth. Who’s to say?
I’ve heard a different saying about opinions and a different part of the body that concludes, “Everybody has one.” My opinion is that I have the best readers in the world, and I’m very smart.
I’m on team 2, though either is nice
You make any team nicer, beth.
I prefer the first video, Ann. Hooray for ‘Vaccine.’
Hooray for you and your opinions, my friend!
Love your sense of fun in both, Ann. Your spirit and sense of humor are infectious. xo
I love the way you express your opinions, Lori! xxoo
Ha! I’m late to the vote, but before I’d read everyone else’s remarks, I’d decided on #1, as well. I just enjoy your enthusiasm and talent, and it’s fun to share an opinion with you, Ann. Yes, sometimes I feel like I’m an island in a sea of insanity. You help me feel less isolated in my opinions! 🙂
You help me feel less isolated too, Debra, and thank you for your highly-valued opinion.
