Day 2933: The cure for my anxiety

My wonderful friend Megan, who is always a cure for my anxiety, sent me this yesterday …

… in response to my sending her this:

These days, my anxiety is up because of animals much scarier than those kittens on the floor. The cure for my increased anxiety is capturing images like these:

Ocean scenes, cats, Michael’s cooking, chocolate, the Daily Bitch Calendar, competent leaders, and kindness are among the cures for my anxiety.

Music and comedy are other cures for my anxiety, so here is Randy Rainbow with his latest song parody:

What is the cure for your anxiety?

Many people say gratitude is the cure for anxiety, so thanks to all who help me create this daily blog, including YOU.

  1. i love the pic with the doggie held hostage by her anxiety in the chair and it is so spot on. when i feel anxious, i remember that there is an endless amount of kindness and compassion in the world, and that will never waver, no matter what angst-inducing things go on.

  2. I try to remember that hey, I’ve made it this far, Ann.

Being at the right place with the right people is my cure for anxiety. I got a chuckle from that post of Biden .

  4. The cure for my anxiety is photography and seeing Harley too.

  5. Knowing that others are anxious helps me feel not so alone, although I wouldn’t wish anxiety on anyone. And laughing at Biden asking himself, with good reason, “Why does Trump think I’d visit him in prison?” makes me feel like I’ve been thrown a life preserver.

  6. I miss Oscar, too.

  7. I struggle daily not to let anxiety get the best of me. Lots of time outside, lots of reading, and lots of snuggling with my dogs are some of the remedies I embrace. Humor also helps, so your photos were a great elixir this morning, Ann. 💕

  8. It’s really easy to fall into anxiety these days. There are so many reasons why we naturally feel anxious, but you always help me find some humor, and that’s a good thing, Ann! I do love Randy Rainbow. Sometimes I binge watch his videos just because I can. LOL!
