Day 2897: Sights we hate

Yesterday, I posted Day 2896: Sounds we hate, so it’s time to turn our sights to sights we hate.

These days, I hate the sight of

  • injustice,
  • denial,
  • people not wearing masks,
  • people wearing masks BELOW THEIR NOSES,
  • large gatherings,
  • mass hysteria,
  • ignorance,
  • criminals,
  • enablers,
  • cruelty,
  • deception,
  • poverty,
  • greed,
  • the destruction of our environment,
  • wasteful paper mail, and
  • hatred.

Are there any sights we hate in these recent sights I saw?

.

.

Rather than focus more on sights we hate, here are “Satisfying Sights That Will Help You Relax” from ZORRO.

Sights I love include comments from you, so please leave one, below.

Ready for the sight of gratitude from me?

  1. I hate seeing intolerance and hate.

  2. I’m curious to see what everyone’s favorite gift is 💝 Mine would be love and acceptance.

  3. I hate seeing intolerance and injustice, and I hate seeing the year run out so quickly, although I’m also happy to see 2020 finally over.

  4. I hate to see fear on the face of someone living with dementia.

  5. I agree with your list. Also, I love that box of crayons–who knew crayons could be made with solar power?!

  6. I love the card with the cat pooping tinsel – nice! We had an entire loaf of bread go missing – until the plastic bread bag appeared, much like the timsel has appeared. Turned out my Great Dane ate the entire loaf – bag and all. Have a wonderful day Ann!! Until tomorrow….

  7. I don’t like seeing urban developments anywhere because it makes me think human overpopulation continues to go on unchecked. This is very visual indeed. President Joe Biden has put the climate crisis at the top of his incoming administration’s agenda with ambitious goals ranging from rejoining the Paris Agreement to a $ 2 trillion plan to transition to clean energy.

I hate seeing stupid people being in denial of the obvious. I don’t know if they’re really stupid or naive, or getting paid to go along with madness.
Sometimes it hits close to home. I was at the hairdresser the other day, and one of the clients said,” why should I wear a mask if a vaccine is just around the corner”… So, people with iike that , I just ignore I just don’t want to waste my energy and get aggravated and ruin my day.
I also hate the sight of seeing masks along the sidewalks. People throw them out the window, I guess.

  9. Sometimes I push my mask below my nose when I have to cross a street with lots of traffic and my glasses are too fogged up to cross safely. I don’t have to do this if there are others crossing, because I can just follow them.

  10. I, too, hate seeing people wearing masks below their noses, mor better yet, wrapped around their chins. 😳 I am struggling mightily with the selfish, self-serving behavior of so many. As your screen grab noted..they have always been among us, but now it is patently clear who they are, and so very very disturbing. In the grand scheme of things it takes SO LITTLE to be considerate, wear a mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance, and yet obviously it’s a bridge too far for many, and we all must suffer the consequences. Trying to focus on what I can control and how I can be part of the solution, and to practice small acts of kindness in an effort to keep my spirits up. Don’t know what else to do. Some days I find it tough to maintain my emotional equilibrium….

  11. Yes, I do not like to see people failing to comply with safety measures, Ann.

  12. I hate seeing those corrupted politicians here. 😱😱😱😱😱
