Do you see any junk in today’s news or in today’s photos?

Amid all the junk from yesterday, last night my son Aaron and I saw a fox jump on the seawall and glide along, like a little grey spaceship, on the sand below. In my attempt to capture it, I took that last junky photo, above.

Have you heard any good quotes about junk? How about this one?

“God don’t make no junk.”

Here‘s “Junk” by Sir Paul McCartney, presented by Carter and Josh Turner:

No matter what junk you’re dealing with, I think you’ll enjoy that performance of “Junk.”

Feel free to share any junk you like in the comments section, below.

I would never junk gratitude, so thanks to all who help me create these daily posts, including YOU!

(By the way, I snapped that when I was in the junk food section of our local supermarket.)

  1. Junk is stashed, but Harley is prized.

  2. EVERYONE has at least one junk drawer — often in the kitchen. I let that slide — where else can you find a fire starter, string, door knob, stray napkin ring holders used to tie tablecloths down, dried out magic marker, and more?

I learned something from Webster’s 6th definition of junk 😉 I love your junk-free pictures, especially the first nocturnal picture of the moon. I have a box in the closet, where I put things that I think someday will be useful. I’ll have to trash some of the items because they haven’t been useful so far. Have a nice day, Ann

  4. I love the quip about the spaceship. Now I feel proud of my junk drawer!

  5. Some people think Poe’s stories are junk. I’ll never understand that, unless they mean his stories are the kind of junk that can carry you to strange and unusual places.

  6. Far from junk, what great music and it led to many others by these young artists and ‘The Other Favourites’

  7. one person’s junk is another’s treasure

  8. I’m thinking of all the junk that I haven’t bought yet. (۶* ‘ꆚ’)۶”
