Day 2835: People who hate people

People who hate people

Are the schmuckiest people in the world.

They’re children needling other children

And yet letting their grown-up side

Hide ‘cause of hurt and pride,

Acting more like children than children.

Haters are miserable people,

They’re the suckiest people in the world.

One person, I’m thinking of one person

Who has a feeling deep in their soul

Saying you’re the asshole.

It’s like hunger and thirst,

The worst, to be a person who hates people.

People who hate people

Are the unluckiest people in the world.

People can find “People” sung by Barbra Streisand here.

What kind of people do you see in my photos from yesterday?

People, people who thank people, are the luckiest people in the world.

  1. Such a profound last line in your poem, Ann

  2. people have often told me that i look like babs streisand, if only i could sing. and i love your lyrics. brilliant.

  3. We tip our hat to Babs, Ann.

The hateful people don’t deserve a song, Ann- they don’t deserve such importance. There’s an ego-maniac who’s spreading germs to everyone and doesn’t care. I got an awful awakening yesterday when I realized the extremes certain doctors will do for greed, and how they let themselves be controlled by that ego maniac. They completely ignored the Hippocratic oath. They put their military rank ahead of their vocation. It’s a disgrace.

  5. There’s a special magic in rhyming “schmuckiest” and “unluckiest”. You are truly one funny girl.

  6. Oh but there’s a Harley
    who does not hate people
but who is a wonderful people kitty cat
Singing you truths day and nights…

  7. People who hATE people…will turn into a beast! LOL! ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

  8. I see someone who does not hate other people … hate is such a STRONG word, and people use it much too frequently.
