Day 2857: Hear my cry

Yesterday, after hearing people cry, I saw this:

Hear my cry about

  • the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg,
  • the state of the USA,
  • injustice,
  • suffering,
  • climate change,
  • imbalance of power,
  • greed, and
  • inhumanity.

I cried when I took one of these photos.

When I’m crying, I breathe in support and love and I breathe out fear and helplessness.

Here‘s “Hear My Cry” by Marvia Providence:

Of course, I want to hear your cry, laughter, love, hope, despair, and anything else in the comments section, below.

Hear my gratitude, here and now.

  1. May our love and support work for that last wish to come fulfilled, Ann.

  2. It is harder than ever to feel positive. My heart stopped when the news of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death came on the television. The champion of civil rights, women’s reproductive rights, yes, all our rights just couldn’t hold out long enough to assure a safe return to normality. I think all of the gatherings across the country in her memory show I am not alone in how I feel, and that is encouraging. I don’t recall any Supreme Court judge’s passing getting this attention. If her death on an auspicious day in the Jewish calendar means she is a saint, it only explains her life’s work!

  3. Let’s blow our trumpets long and hard!

Did you see the documentary on CNN about RBG? It was quite moving- I had seen it before . I just ask myself, I wonder if there was anyone in particular she had in mind to make sure her last wish would be granted.. maybe it was we the people… I’m sure she knew that Trump wouldn’t respect it Have a nice Sunday everyone

  5. yesterday I cried, today I laughed, when I saw your baby ruth. here’s to ruth

  6. When I was a kid I got conflicting words on whether it was okay to cry. Some adults told me I shouldn’t and others told me to share my feelings. Now that I’m an adult I know it’s okay to cry but I also find things that give me joy.

  7. I can hear your cry from across the miles, my dear friend! (灬♥ω♥灬)

  8. Hear my cry is a very human thing.
