Day 2732: Go back to your dreams.

If you go back to my previous blogs, you’ll find

  • many posts about dreams (going back to here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here) and
  • that I have trouble going back to sleep when I wake up too early, which I almost always do.

Last night, I woke up too early (AGAIN!) and I was able to go back to sleep by reciting this phrase to myself, over and over:

Go back to your dreams.

Now, I shall go back to all the photos I took yesterday, to see if there are any dreams there.

Oscar could only dream about eating that flounder last night.

Go back to YouTube if you want to find the official music video of “Dreams” by The Cranberries:

Now I have to go back to another Zoom-y meeting — this one with my fellow behavioral health workers, in which we will discuss our dreams of going back to work in person.

My dream is that going back to gratitude will help us achieve our dreams.

  1. Your photos are as dreamy as usual today, Ann. But still grounded in our reality.

  2. I will go back to my dreams now. [✾꒡ .̮ ꒡✾]zzz Wake me up when this nightmare is over..꒰ϱ﹏-๑꒱‧*Zz。 LOL! ( ु⁎ᴗᵨᴗ⁎)ु.zZ

  3. Poor Oscar

  4. Go back to your dreams, Oscar, my hero.

  5. Those socks are dreamy Ann! I have been dreaming so much these days. The most interesting dreams of travel, missing connections and then finding new ones. Being afraid of losing baggage and then doing fine without. The most alarming part is Donald Trump shows up liking me and i have become his counsel….
maybe I can dream of changing home after all 🤣
Be safe and well my friend 🙏

It’s a nice dream when the water in your pictures is always calm. Have a nice day, Ann

“What dreams may come.” May they be pleasant.

  8. Dreamin’ on a Tuesday afternoon while walking in the park. Mother Nature refuses to socially distance, and I appreciate her gift.

  9. Quarantine has put many of us in a dreamy state, which is something I hope continues even after it ends. I’ve also been waking up too early, so early I feel the fell of dark, not day, but being able to go back to my dreams is a bright side.

  10. Going back to your dreams sounds good unless your dream is a nightmare in disguise

  11. I was dreaming a lot for a while, really vivid informative dreams, but now I’m waking up a lot at night. Not good for dreams. But I can still have waking dreams that good things happen and this is over sooner than we think. And yes, poor Oscar.

  12. I have been dreaming vividly of late. It’s strange, but a welcome respite to much of the nightmare we confront each day…

  13. I wake up too early as well. If I do manage to go back to sleep I have bad dreams. Oh well.
