Day 2692: News you can use

Since so many people are telling me that they are avoiding the news these days, I’m hoping to provide some news you can use, here and now, including these headlines:

  • My panel discussion of providing therapy groups remotely  during the pandemic went very well yesterday.
  • I’ll be performing my original song “Triggers” at an online Open Mic tonight.
  • As always, I’m doing my best to lose my investment in the outcome while remaining totally committed to the process.
  • I take selfies with my cat.

Is there any news you can use in these new photos?

More news you can use:

This may be more news you can use. My husband Michael and I have an old private joke, where we have this exchange:

Me: Michael!  This (and I describe some thing that occurred that day) happened and guess what I did?

Michael: You cried.

I cry at lots of things, including Some Good News.

We can all use gratitude, so thanks to all who help me create these daily blogs, including YOU.

  1. I like your new original song title, my friend! (((((TrIGgERS))))) (●’ᴗ’σ)σணணღ*

  2. glad you made it through your sessions yesterday and lived to tell. i can’t be there tonight but hope you’ll post your new song on your blog in the near feature for all to enjoy. i really like the horseshoe crab just sitting on the ledge looking out to the sea. your inside joke closely aligns with what my daughters tell me. ‘every story you tell us about an experience you had ends with you either laughing or crying.’ i consider both important for getting through life.

  3. Break a leg tonight, Ann, and cry telling us about it tomorrow!

  4. Good luck tonight, and also here’s some news you’ve probably heard but could use anyway: horseshoe crabs used to have their very special blood harvested for medical purposes, but it can now be synthesized. The news that these ancient and wonderful creatures can be left alone makes me very happy.

Hi, Ann, I’m not sure whether I expressed this enough, but I would like to thank you for being there for us with this blog. That’s my news-flash for the day. I don’t know where you live, but you are very fortunate to overlook the beautiful waterfront.Have a nice day.

  6. It’s not news but horseshoe crabs have nine eyes and are considered living fossils because they originated 450 million years ago!
What is inscribed on the steak? Does it say Covid-19?

  7. I hope you have fun tonight, Ann

  8. News here, news there, news everywhere none of it exciting and new well it feels that way

  9. The token acts as a digitized share in gold and emerald mines and in-house jewelry production for the world market and will allow its holders to benefit from the revenue generated by underlying business activities.
