Don’t even talk to me unless you are

DO even talk to me about what you see in this post.

I can’t even talk about how anxiety-provoking it is when an animal is sick, because they can’t even talk to you about how they’re feeling and I can’t talk to Oscar about the ultrasound he’s having today.

Are these two people even talking to each other?

.

Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda can really talk about friendship.

.

Don’t even talk to me unless you accept my appreciation and thanks that you showed up today, exactly the way you are.

  1. Such a cute cat. I thank you and appreciate you for such a nice post.

  2. Biggest of hugs. šŸ™‚

  3. and don’t even talk to me unless it’s okay for me to talk to you. i hope the vet talks to you today to give you positive news.

  4. Iā€™m talking about great hopes for good news about Oscar today, Ann.

    • Thanks for your great hopes, my great friend. The news about Oscar was bad but we’re happy we’ll still have our good cat for a little while.

  5. Ann, I can see from your photos that Oscar does not feel well. I hope the vet can help him feel a little better, even if he can’t make him young and strong again. The other thing I see in the photo is that Oscar is very, very loved.

Please give him a gentle hello from me.
I hope he does not mind the ultrasound too much.

    • Oscar did not seem to mind the ultrasound and we’re going to do our best to help him feel a little better in the short amount of time he has left with us. Thanks for another loving comment, my friend.

  6. This is marvelous, Ann. I reposted it on my FaceBook page. I loved the friendship Ted Talk.

  7. Love these ground rules and your furry friend:). We could all use one right now!

  8. ….unless it’s good news about Oscar. It’s gotta to be good news, my friend! (ā‰šį„Œā‰š)ā„’ā„“ѵā„Æ

    • It was not good news, my friend, but the good news is that Oscar is still with us.

      • I’m so sorry to hear that. Just take one day at a time, my dear friend. Big hugs,

Keep us posted about your cat, Oscar.

    • Oscar has cancer and we’re going to do our best to make sure that his remaining days are as pain-free as possible. Thank you for another caring comment.

  10. I see self distraction, a facet I’m sure you try to help others avoid. I hope Oscar is fine and that the nail is soon a thing of the past!

  11. I hope Oscar gets a good report from the vet. And talks to you. But not about nails.

  12. I could talk so much about the wonderful friendship between Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda, but what could I say that they haven’t already? I’ll just add that long friendships are a great thing, and even though we’ve never really met, Ann, I feel we’ve had a very long friendship.
