Yesterday, what I found included this:
Look what I found in New York City!
I found hope right across from our hotel, where I’ll be facilitating a group of group therapists today. I hope that goes well and I hope you enjoy all the other photos I took yesterday:
As usual, I found gratitude all around.
Finally, here‘s a favorite New York song I found on YouTube:
What I also found right across from our New York hotel, besides hope, is the Broadway Theater, where I’ll be seeing the new production of West Side Story tomorrow night.
Please feel free to share what you found in this post, below.
Hi Ann, you being In New York has remind me, that I was there 10 months ago, for a 6 day visit before I went to Philadelphia for 4 weeks, staying with my Cousins….. and what a glorious time I had…… to travel more than half way around the world to “FIND” my cousin was a dream come true…..
” Dreams of The Heart
I cannot walk the continents
Like the intrepid Marco Polo
But my feet have felt the sands of time
Pass between my toes
I have not sailed the high seas
Like the courageous Christopher Columbus
But my body has bathed
In an ocean full of kind hearts
I’m yet to fly in space
Like the brave Neil Armstrong
But I have reached for the stars
And touched my soul’s dreams “
Thanks for this glorious poem, Ivor. I’m glad for all the things you’ve found.
Gifts for heart are the best….
Cheers to your hopeful times in New York, Ann.
Cheers to you, my New York friend.
I love Robert Indiana’s sculptures. And the theme of what you found reminds me of when I was nine and my mother gave me her copy of Pinocchio that she’d had as a little girl, the original novel by Carlo Collodi. Each chapter begins with a short description of what’s to come and the one I’ve never forgotten is, “Pinocchio is swallowed by the Terrible Dog-Fish and finds…what does he find? Read this chapter and you will know.”
That’s a wonderful demonstration of the power of words.
Thanks for another wonderful demonstration of the power of words, my friend.
I’m glad to know that you’re having a nice time, Ann
I’m glad to see such a nice comment!
I find life is better when we are happy
I find life better when you’re here, Jo-Anne.
I would just LOVE to be seeing West Side Story with you, Ann. Enjoy! Enjoy! And I do hope all has gone well for you today. I loved seeing the sights vicariously. 🙂
I would LOVE to see it with you, Debra, and of course I remember how we met last year when I was at the AGPA conference in L.A. All has gone well and I wish the same for you. ❤
I was remembering our time together this time last year! 🙂
I’m finding that memory from LA is helping to sustain me in NYC!
Sounds like you’re having a good time there! And gosh, Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra together. Not sure about the third guy. I loved the bit with them riding horses.
I love that you’re here with me and Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra and that other guy, Lisa.
