Day 2571: Battles

This has been an interesting week here at The Year(s) of Living Non-Judgmentallywith titles including Day 2569: I’m so done, Day 2570: Antisocial, and now Day 2571: Battles.

Is this blog turning into The Year(s) of Living Combatively?

I don’t think so, but I have noticed a lot of battles around me lately.  Do you see evidence of that in these photos?

I fell asleep on the couch last night and missed the anticipated battle between Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders at the latest debate of Democrat Presidential hopefuls.

Here‘s “Cabinet Battle #1” from Hamilton:

What are your thoughts and feelings about battles?

I need to battle traffic to get to work on time, so thanks to all who help me create this daily blog, including YOU.

  1. Thank you Ann, have a nice day!!!

  2. Michael walks in and finds the cats controlling the TV remote:

Come on, guys, not Animal Planet again!

  3. It snowed about a foot here and so my husband and I spent about an hour this morning shovelling the sidewalks for the whole block and part of the next one. That was fun but also a battle. We don’t usually see much snow and so most of the other people in our neighbourhood don’t have shovels.

You’re right, Ann , traffic is a battle. They’re erecting more buildings and not enough roads to meet the capacity. I suppose , there’s nothing we can do

  5. Are you trying to train Harley to be a mouser?

  6. The battle of driving is something I don’t worry about anymore

  7. There’s a saying that in academia the fights are so big because the turf is so small. That used to make me laugh but then I started to think that there is no such thing as small territory in the pursuit of knowledge, and I’ll gladly defend that position.

  8. I think I often feel overwhelmed, which can feel like being in a battle. That’s not a very good feeling! Your photos bring to mind many of the reasons I feel overwhelmed in the first place! 🙂
