Day 2534: What time is it?

What time is it?

It’s time for cats to look at clocks, if not kings.

It’s time for me to explain that “a cat may look at a king” means that “even someone of low status has rights. A cat may look at a king implies that all people have certain minimal rights by virtue of being alive.”

It’s time to reaffirm those rights.

It’s time for another picture of Harley.

It’s time for me to share that Michael observed at the time that Harley evoked  “King of New York” from Newsies. Then, it was time for me to sing “Look at me! I’m the king of this couch.”

It’s time for “King of New York” from Newsies.

It’s time for the Broadway version  of “King of New York.”

It’s time for Queens of New York, too.

It’s time for signs and possibilities.

It’s time for a good meal.

Then, it’s time for dessert!

It’s time for Ferrero Rocher gelato.

It’s time for me to repeat a few of my song lyrics from yesterday:

Ferrero Rocher, Ferrero Rocher.

That gets stuck in my mouth along the way.

Ferrero Rocher, Ferrero Rocher.

So easy to eat and so hard to say.

It’s hard to say what time it is, because we’re all in different places and time changes so rapidly. However, I do know that  it’s time for me to get ready for work.

I hope it’s time for you to leave a comment.

Of course, it’s always time for hope and gratitude.

  1. It’s time for a slight warm-up in the northeast, Ann, and I’m glad for the melt before winter proper starts!

  2. The saying “a cat may look at a king” always strikes me as funny because I’ve never thought of cats as having low status. The saying should be “a king may look at a cat” since cats have the superior status, as I’m sure Harley would tell us.

  3. It’s time to drop by for a visit! Have a beautiful week, my friend. ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ♡♡♡

  4. It’s time for me to hit the road! I’ve been invited to supper. I’m sure it will compare favourably with Michael’s cooking. I think a cat is quite dignified as it watches us scurry around like mice. It’s time for me to get another song. I have “Blue Bayou” stuck in there. Oh well, time to for me go and to say thank you Ann!

  5. Cats are kings and queens, you should know that Ann. Just ask Harley 😀

  6. Maureen

I hope your Monday will be all you hope it will be, Ann.

  7. It is time I made a phone call but first I need to Google the number.
It is time I get my act together and focus on one thing at a time.

  8. Farley ended looks like a king. Possibly the king of the greater Boston Metro area…So…are you one of his minions?

  9. Looks like a marvelous time!
