One thousand, five hundred and seventeen days ago (but who’s counting?), I published Day 1005: What is success? Because I’m feeling self-confident today, I think it’s time to revisit success.
Here’s a quote from Emerson about success:
Reading that, I believe I have succeeded. My success would be complete if you could admit that you’ve succeeded, too.
I had success taking these other photos yesterday:
Even though Michael says he doesn’t like tilapia, he has great success in transforming it into delicious and nutritious meals.
Here‘s Squeeze launching MTV Unplugged with great success:
It’s love.
The day before Thanksgiving here, I now aim for success in expressing my profound thanks to all who help me create this daily blog, including YOU!
That last mug is very you!
And this comment is very you, Awesome Alex!
I was already in a super good mood but your post is always a cherry on top
I once had such self confidence that I felt I could do anything. With age I have a better perspective.
I appreciate your perspectives, Derrick, always.
Success is when you’re satisfied with life, Ann. May you have a successful holiday weekend, my friend.
I agree with you , Mark 🙂
I am satisfied with life and with these comments!
Some of success seems to be a matter of luck, of accepting the right things as they come, but a friend of mine who’s a really big Squeeze fan, was in England when he heard they’d be playing a concert. He dropped all his other plans and went well out of his way to go.
That’s why you’re a success too: you know when to accept the right things and when to go out of your way.
Thanks for going out of your way, Chris. I wish you and yours a most Happy Thanksgiving.
Success is when you’re happy. Have a nice Thanksgiving, Ann and to everyone here 🙂
This comment makes me happy! Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Thank you, Ann. I enjoyed reading this. I think you are successful across all domains. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Michael, Aaron, your blog readers and all your friends
It takes one successful person to know another one, Maureen. Thanks for always helping me feel like a success.
I don’t know success, what is it???????????????????
Good question, my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You were successful in finding beautiful rings, Ann! And the Emerson quote is a sure winner!
I am also successful in finding beautiful comments, Debra, even if I’m a year late! ❤
