Day 2311: Optimal Fuel

What is your optimal fuel?

Is it

  • a good night’s sleep?
  • naps?
  • supportive people?
  • animals?
  • community?
  • poetry?
  • music?
  • friends?
  • peace?
  • forgiveness?
  • magic?
  • beliefs?
  • humor?
  • hope?
  • nature?
  • travel?
  • the city?
  • the country?
  • walking (or other exercise you enjoy)?
  • work?
  • celebrations?
  • taking time for yourself?
  • wishes?
  • writing?
  • observing?
  • questions?
  • answers?
  • love?
  • nutritious food, including kale?

Two optimal videos show up (here and here) when I search YouTube for “Willie Nelson Optimal Fuel”:

Gratitude is one of my optimal fuels, so thanks to all who helped me create today’s optimal post and — of course! — to YOU.

  1. knowing children and grandchildren are safe is a boost as far too often they are in desperate times over which I can do nothing

  2. It is an intricate and elusive blend, the right stuff in life, Ann.

  3. Ice cream used to be my ultimate fuel…but that turned out to be fake. So I’m going with travel, seeing new things, meeting people, taking photographs to remember it all by.

  4. Gratitude is such an incredible gateway to so many of life’s wonders — you are one of those wonders.

  5. Family is mine

  6. Chocolate and coffee! [I was a bit lost and disillusioned this past one month. But all is well now.]

  7. fresh air
    & all
    of the above 🙂

  8. Two things that drive me are music and jokes. And also friends. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been in the back seat of a friend’s car and said, “I’m going there but I like it here, wherever it is.”

  9. Any fuel is potentially the optimum fuel. That’s what makes life fun.

  10. It is many of those things, and thankfully I have many of these things in my life

  11. Many things you’ve listed are incredibly important to me, Ann, but I think a good night’s sleep is the one thing that changes my perspective from time to time. There really is truth that often a new day following a good sleep sets me back on track! I hope you’re getting plenty of good rest. 🙂
