As I look around, look around, I hear these lyrics from Hamilton:
Look around, look around,
How lucky we are to be alive right now.
Look around, look around, how lucky we are to be alive right now when somebody’s posted a 30-minute loop of these Hamilton lyrics on YouTube:
Look around, look around at my photos from yesterday.
How lucky I am to be alive right now, even if I lose sight of that sometimes.
What do you see when you look around, look around? I will look around, look around for your comments later.
Look around, look around for my gratitude to all who helped me create today’s post and — of course! — to YOU, for looking around, looking around here.
the way you look around the world is always so fascinating. i especially love the little donkey on the hill )
I love whenever you look around here, Beth.
Your butterfly on the butterfly bush blooms make me smile much this morning, Ann. Thank you!
I’m looking back at you and smiling too, Mark.
The monarchs on that butterfly bush are so lovely! My own butterfly bush is new this year, so quite a bit smaller, but it still attracts the monarchs and swallowtails:-)
Thanks for your lovely look-around here.
I looked around and saw your photo of an amazing poster in defense of dignity and rights for trans people in Massachusetts. I feel uplifted. Thank you!
I was hoping you would look around here and see that, Maureen.
❤️❤️❤️
When I look around and see that there are people who think the rights and dignity of trans people I feel lucky to be alive, and when I see butterflies at this time of year I think how the future holds a spring where the eggs they’ve left will transform into a new, and maybe better, generation.
I feel lucky that better people like you, Chris, come around to my blog.
I look around and see people still laughing and joking with each other, smiling and having fun. Despite the climate in the world these days, I look around and still see people getting along, sharing, and living life as if it still holds promise for the future. I look around and see places I visit taking care of their own whether they be haves or have nots. I look around and see beauty in the littlest things our earth has to offer up from its natural place in space and time. I look around and see, which is a blessing in and of itself. To see!
I’m so grateful I can look around to see your beautiful comment here!

Thanks for looking around, Joanne. It’s always great to look around and find a comment from you.
History is happening! I do love that song, and I enjoy your butterfly bush photos. Good stuff!
Thanks for looking around and leaving this lovely comment, Allison.
What a lovely reminder, Ann. We need to be awake to the beauty and the good and the positive and the uplifting. A very good way to start a new week…throwing off some of the “yuck” of last week!
It’s always uplifting to look around and find another lovely comment from you, Debra.
I’ll look around as long as I am able
You have a fine ability for looking around, Derrick.
