If you look at the good comments in yesterday’s post, you might notice that some good people had some trouble discerning whether that post had good news.
The news in today’s post is that I can relate to that confusion. When I look at the news these days, I often ask myself and others, “Is this good news?”
It’s probably not news that I’m going to share many new photos and relate them to today’s topic. I ask you, good readers, is this good news?
Is this good news that my son Aaron took so many photos of camera-shy Michael? I guess it depends on your perspective and on who you are.
Is “Good News” by Manic Drive good news?
By the way, I continue to get good news about my dentist‘s recovery from a double lung transplant.
I look forward to all the news in your good comments.
Is this good news that I always thank those who help me create these posts and — of course! — YOU?
Your news is definitely good news, and my mum used to say, “no news is good news”, I think it came from the WWII years. 😊
Thanks for the good news, Ivor!
Always my pleasure ☺️
Hi Ann, I’m still computerless until Thursday, so I’ve difficulty keeping up with my WordPress friends, but another week and hopefully I’ll be back to normal. 😊 😊 ❤️
It’s good news when your blog pops up in my email feed, Ann. Always.
It’s good news when you pop up here, Mark. Always!
The news in some of your pictures is hard to read which is a great metaphor: it can be hard to find the good news but it’s always there. In some of the other pictures the good news is clearer: Dr. Estes is a good doctor, and Michael, though camera-shy, was good enough to have his picture taken so we can see what a good guy he is.
We can always see what a good guy you are, Chris.
It is good news that Michael and Aaron are so playful together, and amazing news about your dentist. Thank you.
Thank YOU for the good news, Maureen.
Your wonderful message to Dr Esks is definitely good news
Estes
Thank you for your wonderful messages, Derrick.
Daily I read or hear something that causes me to take a deep breath and wonder “where are we going with this!” I think to remain a compassionate person we have to be in tune with the situations where we can identify with the pain of others and do whatever we can to make things better despite the constant barrage of negativity and harsh judgments coming from the current “regime.” I know that is a loaded word, but it’s how I see it. I really love your blend of positivity added to balance against the harsher realities. And I do like the challenge to “make a life you don’t need a vacation from.” That’s fabulous! I hope you have a good weekend, Ann!
You always bring good news, Debra. Thanks for your lovely, fabulous compassion.
It’s hardly good news when Harley is not around..
