Day 1866: Ups and Downs

Last night, in a therapy group, when I went up to the whiteboard to write down the important themes in the room, I noticed a lot of them had to do with ups and downs.  The ups and downs included people’s moods, the U.S. stock market, and perceived successes and failures.

Are you up for or down for my photos from yesterday?

Somebody recently gave me a dreamcatcher. I’ll be hanging that up soon.

Happy thoughts bring me up when I’m down.

Ready for some up and down music?

I’m up for any comments you write down below this post.

Thanks to all who helped me with the ups and downs of this post and to you — of course! — for all the ups and downs you may bring.

  1. Thank you too Ann and have a nice weekend!!!

  2. So how did your arm cope with writing UP and DOWN

  3. May your ups and downs move through like clouds … and your shoulder feels better soon!

  4. Loved your song/video selection, In my vinyl collection, and life is definitely like a roller-coaster ride, up and down.

  5. It’s pretty good to wake up and face your blog before I head down the road to work, Ann.

  6. I sent a dreamcatcher to my Mum a couple of years ago for her birthday. I then wrote a poem for it. If I may?
I believe my sister hung it up in her bedroom for her. I don’t know who will have it now.

  7. I’m up for anything….no wait….I’m down for anything….. uhm……

  8. I’ve found that in order to get down you have to get up, but the important thing is to be happy where you are.

  9. “Spinning Wheel,” how the name alone brings up the song vividly for me! I recall it from a high school summer with a special boyfriend I almost married. How many ups and downs might have been met or avoided had I done that! I hope you’re feeling better since your recent plotz.

  10. Blood, Sweat and Tears! Wow, I hadn’t heard them for years, and I had never seen them in a video. Good for you finding them. I hope your arm is better soon and the rest of you. sometimes you just need some rest and to take care of yourself. That’s what the weekend is for…

  11. Life goes up and down like the elevator and all we could do is just keep standing! ╭(♡・ㅂ・)و ̑̑

  12. At my age these ups and downs of life are dreadfully arduous – bad knees.
