Day 1673: Are we there yet?

Are we there yet?  Are we there at a place where we can finally

  • be accepting,
  • feel safe enough,
  • love ourselves,
  • love others,
  • be authentic, and
  • relax?

I was there yesterday, for moments.

“Are We There Yet?” is a great tune by Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays.

We’re here yet so we better make the best of it, because who knows where we’ll be tomorrow.

Are we there, yet,  at the end of today’s blog? We are, so thanks to all who help me bring these posts here and — of course! — to you, for being there.

  1. Amazing photos Ann and I do my best to stay there too !

  2. If this is your new locality, I’d say you were there

  3. very pretty and i’m always trying –

  4. I’m thoroughly jealous, all those lovely warm beachy photos, and I’m inside here in Geelong, behind my “Frosted Glass”. But I can say, after a long arduous life’s journey, “I’m Here Now”, safe, comfortable, reasonably healthy, and reasonably happy within myself. … And apparently you are too, Wishing you all the best, to you, Ann and crew, Cheers….

  9. I have to say that I like Motown more than jazz. I can get my groove on and it takes me there. Down to the beach to hang out with my peeps. Throw in a couple of grandkids with pails and shovels. Oh yea.

  10. Thanks to the the invention of GPS devices we always know where we are and have handy directions to where we’re going, but I often wonder if being able to get lost is something we shouldn’t lose.
