Several years ago, I participated in a group therapy exercise where we created a personal flag. I hope it’s okay if I ask what you would put on your personal flag.
Here’s my okay flag:
Telling myself “it’s okay” helps me deal with a lot, every day.
A few months ago, a more-than-okay person shared a variant of “it’s okay.”
It’ll be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.
It’s not the end yet, so here are my other okay pictures for today.
Here and now, I’m blogging inside that gazebo and let me tell you — IT’S OKAY!
Here‘s some okay music:
Thanks to all who helped make this post okay and — of course! — to you. Okay?
Patience
Okay
🙂
Love that gazebo. That’s more than OK, it’s awesome!
It IS awesome! Thanks for the lovely comment, Peter.
Listening to some great music by Joe Cocker, so my flag would be “With A Little Help From My Friends”
I get by with a little help from my blogging friends, including you.
Its okay … its nearly the weekend!
That is more than okay!
Good to hear! It really is a lovely place you have landed in Ann ❤️
❤
Your OK gets an A here, Ann. ❤
Your comment and your heart both get an A+, Mark. ❤
You made me look it up. Got me wondering.
What’s the origin of okay anyway?
Not sure I know even after googling
Okay, Ann?

You are much more than okay, Ruth.
It’s almost never really “the end”, is it ?? So all is okay. Gazebo…better than okay.
You are far better than okay.
In the final chapter of A History Of The World In 10 & 1/2 Chapters by Julian Barnes a man wakes up in Heaven. After settling in and enjoying himself for a while he decides he wants his life appraised, so he goes to a large building like a courthouse where he’s shown a huge file of his life and told that he’s “OK”. He’s disappointed, but really how many of us who’ve felt different, like outsiders, would be happy to be told we’re OK?
Let your flag fly, whatever it may be.
Is it okay if I tell you that when my son asked me to recommend one book for him to read this summer, it was A History of the World In 10 & 1/2 Chapters?!? We seem to have some similar flags, Chris.
A blogging gazebo is a more than okay idea..I have been noticing that inspiring little building since it first appeared in your photos, wondering if it is yours. I am so glad that it is. You can cocoon and be right out in the sea at the same time.
Is Harley ready for his own blog? I wonder if he will discover his inner sea captain?
Harley blogging would be more than okay with me and so are your inspiring comments, Maureen.
What a cool gazebo! I see the guilty party slinking around. I assume Harley’s flag would say, “I’m sorry, don’t be mad at me!”
There was a radio guy in LA who used to say what sounded like “egg bock” meaning “EGBOK” or “Everything’s gonna be okay.” My dad, may he Rest In Peace, said it to me often. So I’d put that on my flag. http://youtu.be/Ww8r9sdQ95I
Harley’s flag might say “I have a severe anxiety disorder so please forgive me.” EGBOK, Sunny.
That gazebo is more than okay Ann!! Have a great weekend!
You are much more than okay, Lisa!! ❤
