April is also the month I’m sharing some songs about April (here, here, here,  here,  here, and here on YouTube):

What is April to you?

April thanks to all who helped me create this post and to you — of course! — for being here, most likely in April.

  1. To me April is the foolish month, but only in years when it starts on the first. And also in months when the month of April has an ‘r’ in it.

  2. My birthday’s in April, so it’s when I make my yearly resolutions (instead of New Year)!

  3. April is so inspiring … and brings post like this. Thank you Ann 💕

  4. Thank you the Al Jolson!

  5. For the Al Jolson 😏

  6. I always learn something from your blog. I had no idea about the giraffe. A kangaroo hasn Joey so the animal kingdom is quirky.

  7. April is an easy month not a lot of birthdays or events in it for me, does have Easter and Anzac Day though and Dawson’t birthday

    • I learn from you, Joanne, this April. Now I know that Anzac Day is “a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand that broadly commemorates all Australians and New Zealanders “who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations” and “the contribution and suffering of all those who have served”. Observed on 25 April each year, Anzac Day was originally to honour the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who fought at Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire during World War I.”

  8. My eldest son was born 53 years ago this year’s Easter Sunday

  9. April is spring, great weather, and life.

  10. So I like the little purple person running for the corner
