It’s a world of puzzles, isn’t it?
Here’s the first photo I took yesterday in my world of puzzles.
My world includes these puzzles:
- Why and how did I come down with a sore throat during the warmest February day I can ever remember?
- What world issues inspired this tweet, yesterday?
What’s more important? Global warming or my enjoying a 60-degree February day in Boston?
- How is it possible that my son Aaron’s YouTube video (shown in yesterday’s post) was mentioned in the New Yorker two years ago and neither of us knew about this until yesterday?
- Why in the world are all these puzzling photos on my phone?
Your strength is your own knowledge and did you have the strong knowledge that I would include some music from the world of YouTube in this puzzling post?
What puzzles are in your world, today?
Thanks to all who helped me create this world of puzzles post and to you — of course! — no matter how puzzled you are, here and now.
Is that a working, Steampunk clock?…..very cool.
Not sure if it was working. I’ll check the next time I go to cardiac rehab.
Just wondering. Hope the sore throat goes away
Three cheers for your pictured puzzles wrapped inside of an enigma, Ann. You never know where a Coca-Cola bottle cap will show up, I guess.
Three cheers for you whenever you show up, Mark!
A puzzled greeting to you from Spain, Ann 🙂
A grateful greeting to you from Boston, Irene. ❤
Thank you, Ann ❤
Our national political scene…always a puzzle ! Very cool shout out from the New Yorker.
Very cool comment, Van. Did you see my pictorial shout out to you in Day 1512: Today is ….. ?
No, I surely missed it, Ann. Thanks so much. ❤️ 💛 💙
“I’ve put in so many enigmas and puzzles that it will keep the professors busy for centuries arguing over what I meant, and that’s the only way of insuring one’s immortality.”- James Joyce
Perhaps I am trying to insure my immortality, Maria! Thanks for the illuminating comment.
How does The New Yorker mention Aaron’s YouTube video without giving him credit or using the word “mondegreen”? Chances to use that word don’t come along often and should be seized when they do.
Even more puzzling is the origin of the word “puzzle” which the OED simply says is “Of unknown origin”.
I give you credit, Chris, for another fabulous and original comment.
Sorry you are not well. I’m surprised there are no finger marks on the do not touch message
Thanks for leaving your finger marks here, Derrick.
Congrats on your son’s video getting a shout out from the New Yorker! Wow!
Sorry your throat is sore.
glad it’s Friday — you can rest tomorrow.
And, I too would want to touch that do not touch message — soooo tempting! 🙂
Thanks for this touching comment, Louise!
Hope your throat feels better soon? Maybe it is just sore from all that well-deserved kvelling? 🙂
Maybe I’m kvelling about another comment from you?
I woke up with a sore throat too. Mine is better. I hope your sore throat gets better too.
Mine is better today, too! Thanks, Jessica.
How crazy! My post today was scheduled for publication three days ago, and it is also about puzzles!
That is puzzlingly crazy and wonderfully coincidental!
I hope you decided to enjoy the 60-degree day, climate change or not! We got overheated shopping in an outdoor mall in Estero, FL today. But then this is de rigeur😏.
Thank you for your fashionable comment, Sunny.
“Anticoagulant Management Services” is a bit of an intimidating sign!
Something I need to deal with every day. I’m not intimidated! Is that puzzling?
Frankly, yes!
