Today is Groundhog Day!

Groundhog Day is my birthday.  Can you guess how old I am today? Here‘s a hint:

While there are many things out there on Groundhog Day 2017 that are making me afraid of my own shadow, there’s still a lot of sunshine.

Do you see shadows or sunshine in the photos I took the day before Groundhog Day?

Of course many of your photos raise questions for me. 🙂 I won’t ask the medical ones, but does the junk removal company signal a move? A good one?

  14. Happy Birthday, dear Ann!!! I LOVE your new gravatar! You look stunning! Do we have 6 more weeks of winter or is SPRING to spring soon? What did Ground Hog see or not see? May this your day be filled with Miracles and much laughter!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ (((HUGS))) ❤ ❤ ❤

    • Thanks for this stunning comment, Amy. The groundhog saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter. You brought sunshine and love into my blog, as usual.

      • I know. I heard. 😦 Silly Groundhog. Thank you, Sunshine, for your kindness towards me. Much Love and 🙂 ❤

  15. Harley, say happy birthday to Ann! Is today really groundhog day? I thought it was Grumpy.

  18. Happy Birthday Ann!!!! You and I were born in the same year so that makes you the same age I’ll be this December! 🙂 Which btw, also makes you much much older than me! 🙂
    ❤ ❤ ❤

  19. Happy birthday and don’t let that groundhog’s shadow get you down!

  20. Happy birthday, Ann! May everyday be like your most wonderful birthday, where you never see your shadow and the hope of springtime is always in view. 🙂

Btw, February people are really cool (mine’s in 10 days. 🙂 )

  21. Happy Birthday!🎉

  22. Whew. That was a lot of light and shadow in those pics. Not sure I liked all the shadows. Especially in that news headline.

I would also like to say (since I’m going to show up, be gentle, and tell the truth), the shadows in your new gravatar are quite mysterious and fetching, along with those pointy little ears or horns protruding from you head wrap. Very stylish indeed.

Congratulations for being born on Ground Hog Day! 64 is going to be a Very Good Year because we aren’t going to let them keep us down in the dumps or in the shadows. Happy Birthday, Ann!
    Elouise 🙂

    • I loved all the light in your comment, Elouise. I’m so glad to know that 64 is going to be a very good year! ❤ ❤ ❤

  23. I always feel bad for Punxatawney Phil and was glad the year he bit his handler. Probably not nice. I do wish you the happiest of birthdays and many more to come, whether the groundhog sees his shadow or not!

  24. Happy birthday to you, dear Ann! * 🙂 * ❤

  25. Happy birthday Ann. Just like Groundhog Day. Your birthday happens every year. Hope you had a fabulous day!

  26. On treating people with all the kindness they deserve, those who don’t deserve kindness probably need it more than those who do deserve it. On birthdays, they are the secret to immortality, as long as you keep on having them. Happy, happy.

  27. Happy Birthday! Like the bumper sticker.🎂👏

  28. That Beatles track had us all wondering back then. I hope the day was good.
