Can I get an “Amen” for winter greetings?
Can I get an “Amen” for another fabulous Christmas greeting masterpiece from my friend Janet?
Can I get an “Amen” for how laundry can become overwhelming?
Can I get an “Amen” for the healing power of cookies?
Can I get an “Amen” for my amenable family members?
Can I get an “Amen” for the wisdom on teabags?
Can I get an “Amen” for the Amazing Amen chorus from Handel’s Messiah, a piece of music that gave me peace of mind as I sang it, piece by piece, last night?
Can I get an “Amen” for that performance of the Amen Chorus by singers from Oman?
Or for this one conducted by Otto Klemperer (starting at 3:47)?
Can I get an “Amen” for staying alert, aware, and active, but also at peace for the next four years?
Can I get an “Amen” for completing this blog post
well within the time I need to get to cardiac rehab this morning?
Can I get an “Amen” for everyone who helped me create today’s blog post and — Amen! — for you, my amenable, amazing, and admirable readers?

Diana xo
Amen, Diana! I loved it so I had to stop and take a photo. ❤ xxoo
When I was much younger I was told “amen” was Hebrew for “so be it” which helped me understand why it was such a good closing line, but now the OED tells me the Hebrew means ‘certainty, truth’ which makes it even better.
So, yes, a huge amen to you.
So be it, Chris, for the certainty of another true and understanding comment from you. Amen!
Amen to all of that! And so much more. ❤
Amen to wonderful you, Louise!
Amen to the 10th power!
Amen to your power, Claudia!

Especially the cookies.
-Alan
AMEN to all that, Alan.
Was Santa hiding from a husband who came home early?
A man would know that better than me, Ray. Amen.
Amen. Poor Santa – I hope someone saved him!
Amen for your caring nature, Jan.
Yes! Amen to it all, especially the zombie horde and those cookies (which I hope were NOT eaten by the zombie horde).
Amen to you!
I don’t often get a chance to have the last word 🙂
(silence)
🙂
Amen, and for more fish!
Amen!
LOL and amen, Ann! Loved all the pictures (especially Santa the Second Story Man and of course the excerpts from my card). Happy ho-ho and looking forward to seeing you soon.
Amen to all that, Janet, and I amenably used another excerpt from your card in the next post.
Amen indeed Ann 💛
Amen, Val!
