Day 1324: Unmissable

“Unmissable” — a word I’ve missed seeing or using before — was unmissable at the Shannon, Ireland airport yesterday.

I managed to miss what, exactly, was good, mad, AND unmissable according to that unmissable sign. However, there were lots of  other unmissable things at the Shannon Airport and in Edinburgh, Scotland that I did not miss yesterday, which I hope are unmissable in these other photos:

For unmissable you, what’s unmissable in those photos?

For me, it’s unmissable that one of those photos inspired this unmissable performance of an unmissable song:

I hope my gratitude for Shannon Airport, Edinburgh, everything else that inspired this post, and you — of course! —  are all unmissable. I look forward to some unmissable comments.

  1. Your blog is unmissable at 1:47 AM. Thank you for the enticing photos, full of humour. I am looking forward to this trip!

  2. I didn’t want to miss a thing about this!

  3. You’ve caught some of the unmissable mix and chaos of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where the university is at the heart of it, surrounded by venues and mad. passionate people out to entertain and have fun. Hope you have a great time. We sampled a fraction of it yesterday at a book launch and much atmosphere with a stroll along George Street and Princes Street.

  4. Thank you for including me on your tour. It was inspiring. :o) Enjoy your trip, looks like you will be very busy.

  5. Wow…lots of great new material for that camera, Ann. ☺☺ And the Hotel Management/Heineken connection made me laugh…I must have missed that course !

  6. Missing gefilte fish and chips would give me tsuris and I wouldn’t want to miss an excursion to Loch Ness, but what I couldn’t miss is that there was a 50 pence piece in the gnome’s jar. The 50 p’s seven sides make it unusual and unmistakable to any numismatist.

  7. Glad the whole trip was unmissable for you.

  8. I’m pleased you managed not to miss the trip

  9. Haha! Great pics and gotta love Jimmy Fallon:p

  10. Okay, okay, wait for me, I’ll be at this unmissable event, you bet!!

  11. Manny exciting things..

  12. You must be unmissable with your camera. The Fringe looks like quite the crush, but as long as I could stop by that place that has things with butter, I might be alright.

    • I’m pretty sneaky and subtle with my camera. Thanks for this unmissable comment, which is much better than just alright.

  13. Wow what wonderful signs with messages that you didn’t miss Ann! Already looks like a wonderful time!
